CELEBRATING WHO I AM
Explorations V Children’s Museum is pleased to present select works of art of our "CELEBRATING WHO I AM" art exhibit. This exhibit became part of Explorations V's collections in 2012, transferrred from VSA — formerly known as Very Special Arts — and CVS Caremark. VSA is an arts organization that promotes the artwork of children with disabilities and is part of the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Come see this beautiful artwork!
Starting July, 2013 at the Florida I-75 Welcome Center:
"Oranges for La Florida", an Explorations V production
This new and engaging puppet and performance theatre was designed and built by Explorations V. As part of the VIVA FLorida 500 celebration, this exhibit allows visitors to recreate the arrival of Ponce de Leon to the shores of Florida. The Spanish brought oranges to Florida and do we know how to celebrate oranges! In addition to "Oranges for La Florida" at the Welcome Center, you can spend countless hours in our "O" is for Oranges, from Seed to Our World exhibit at the Museum!
Coming to Explorations V in 2014!
Chagall for Children focuses on the works of Marc Chagall. This one-of-a-kind exhibit is a unique approach to introducing children to art through the life and work of a master artist, helping children and adults alike develop a greater understanding and appreciation of all forms of artistic expression.
Chagall for Children was developed by the Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago, Glenview, Illinois.
